Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of underwriting loss mitigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan files to ensure quality and guideline compliance.
• Conduct Verification of Income (VOI).
• Calculate front and back-end debt-to-income ratio.
• Verify occupancy, hardship and income.
• Apply payment waterfall to determine workout options.
• Identify liquid assets held by borrower when applicable.
• Communicate required conditions for file documentation.
• Complete system tasks to stay compliant with guidelines.
• Document final decision and update the records.
