Job summary

Ups is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support shipping coordination and documentation. The role is remote with occasional onsite meetings in Roanoke, VA, offering a stable, full‑time position with growth potential.

You will handle documents, coordinate shipments, and collaborate across warehouse, sourcing, and finance teams while maintaining ERP data accuracy and compliance with trade rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in logistics, shipping coordination, and order execution.
• 1+ year customer service or operational support experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; intermediate/advanced Excel.
• Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle preferred; SAP welcomed).

Responsibilities

• Generate and process shipping documents, packing slips, and export records.
• Coordinate internal and external shipments to ensure on-time dispatch.
• Communicate with warehouse teams, shipping, freight forwarders, and couriers.
• Audit outgoing shipments for packaging quality and accuracy.
• Route outbound shipments; track deliveries and troubleshoot delays.
• Maintain data in ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Collaborate with customer care, sourcing, assembly, and finance.
• Uphold compliance with domestic and international logistics and trade rules.
