Job summary

Trojan Battery Company is seeking a Logistics Intern for a 6-month paid internship (25 hours/week) focused on transportation, supply chain, and international trade. This U.S. remote role works with the Director of Logistics to gain hands-on experience in shipping, customs, and process improvement.

You will build skills in tracking shipments, reviewing documents, and using Excel, while supporting freight invoicing and metrics. A related degree and strong organizational abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or related field.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Previous internship or logistics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track domestic and international shipments and coordinate with carriers.
• Review shipping documents for accuracy and maintain records.
• Update shipment information and support logistics data entry in Excel.
• Assist with freight reporting and transportation metrics.
• Support import/export documentation and HTS classifications.
• Assist with trade compliance projects and audits.
• Update logistics procedures and work instructions.
