Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Logistics Engineer Intern to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. In this role, you will support solution design for new customer operational designs and drive operational excellence through data-driven improvements across our facilities.

You'll collaborate with U.S. Operations and Solution Design to build automation and AI recommendations that optimize warehouse activities, ensure compliance with standards, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a rising Senior graduating May 2028 or December 2028 pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies and analytics in logistics.
• Ability to translate data into actionable engineering methods.

Responsibilities

• Support solution design and engineering activities by translating data into optimized equipment, processes, and technology for new customers.
• Collaborate with U.S. Operations and Solution Design teams to build automation and implement AI recommendations.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement Programs and optimize material flow to improve site productivity.
