Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking provisionally licensed LMHC candidates pursuing Washington licensure to provide telehealth sessions. You will join a clinician-led network offering support with credentialing, scheduling, and training, while building a full caseload.

Applicants should be LMHCA board-approved, reside in Washington, and have a 60-credit hour graduate program. Remote, nationwide client care is available with flexible scheduling and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Approved LMHCA by the board.
• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Washington.
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Graduate or post-graduate work experience in counseling treating depression and anxiety.
• Experience conducting intakes and diagnosing under supervision preferred.
• Available for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly.
• Open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children.
• Proficient with telehealth and EHR tools.
• Teamplayer with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based telehealth counseling to clients across the country.
• Build and manage a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing.
• Work under supervision with DSM-5 guidelines when diagnosing.
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling, seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality care.

About The Role

We're hiring licensed clinicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to our more than 175,000 clients across the country. You may be a good fit for this role if you're:

• Approved by the board as a LMHCA
• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Washington
• A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
• Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required
• Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor.
• Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
• A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
• Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress
• Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools
• A good teammate - we're building a clinical community and value positive contributors

Compensation

Up to $57,700 based on licensure type, session volume, and bonus opportunities. Full-time clinicians are eligible for health insurance, student loan repayment assistance, paid time off, and other employer-sponsored benefits.

How We Support You

We handle the administrative work so you can focus on what you do best: providing exceptional care. That means credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support taken care of for you, plus paid orientation and training to get you started. You'll build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing, with flexible scheduling available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
