Job summary

BetterHelp is seeking experienced mental health professionals for remote, independent-contractor roles.

Earn $43–$59 per hour for live sessions, with a $350 first client bonus and a $650 Health Benefit Stipend. Flexible hours, work from home, and access to 390+ CEU courses are offered. Fully independent license required, US residency, and liability insurance. Insurance and cash-pay clients available; weekly pay for sessions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mental health counseling experience
• Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
• Fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) and can provide therapy without supervision.
• U.S. residency, private workspace, reliable internet, and liability insurance
• A private and professional environment for conducting sessions.
• Excellent written communication.
• Must have professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy sessions to adults, couples, or teens.
• Maintain client confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with BetterHelp systems; manage caseload and documentation as an independent contractor.
