Job summary

Edmentum is seeking a Full Time Virtual Teacher for Physics/Physical Science in Indiana or Florida. This remote-first role requires delivering live, synchronous instruction to students online each instructional day, while personalizing lessons using performance data.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and an active Florida or Indiana teaching license for Physics or Physical Science (grades 6–12).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching credential preferred.
• Active state teaching license in Florida and/or Indiana for Physics or Physical Science (grades 6-12).
• Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings; comfortable with live online classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, on-camera instruction for five or more hours per day on scheduled instructional days.
• Use student data to personalize instruction and address learning gaps.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate progress records for students and families.
• Build strong relationships with students and families through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure consistent support.
