Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a secondary science or physical science teaching license.
• Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Grade assignments, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences in a timely manner.
• Support instruction with asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous teaching.
• Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to lessons to improve understanding.
• Communicate regularly with parents, students and teachers to develop learning plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure student progress and coordinate parent contacts.
• Keep student records up to date, including attendance and communications.
• Participate in state testing administration as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
