The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies - Insurance Company (NAMICO) is seeking a Litigation Examiner for a remote, claims-focused role. You will review coverage, manage defense teams, and supervise reserves and diaries across complex claims including D&O, E&O, and EPLI.

Qualifications include a JD and 3–5 years in personal/commercial insurance claims with litigation experience. Travel as needed and opportunities for loss-prevention publications are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years experience in personal lines insurance (property or liability) and/or commercial insurance claims.
• Experience in litigation management and/or professional liability claims.
• Ability to travel out of state regularly and occasionally to Canada.
• Licensing or certification in relevant states is encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Handle an inventory of D&O, Fiduciary Liability, Insurance Company E&O, Agents E&O, and Carrier & Agency EPLI claims.
• Review claims for coverage, issue reservation of rights and coverage letters.
• Manage defense counsel, outside investigators, and litigation budgets.
• Establish reserves, diary claims, and coordinate resolution strategies.
• Develop loss prevention articles and deliver seminars as needed.
