Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Litigation Consultant for Commercial Bodily Injury to manage high-end cases with serious injuries and complex coverage issues. The role requires strategic case development, collaboration with clients and local counsel, and an emphasis on timely resolution and risk control.

Ideal candidates have deep claims knowledge, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team within a telecommuting framework nationwide.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent; deep knowledge of auto policies, coverage, and laws.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses required or obtainable.
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review reports and forms; respond to inquiries; seek opinions and provide early resolutions.
• Handle high-end cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios.
• Coordinate with clients, counsel, and adjusters; plan actions and monitor progress.
• Identify settlement opportunities; gather documents and obtain client authorization.
• Participate in mediations, trials, arbitrations, or hearings as needed.
• Support the organization’s quality program and continuous improvement.
