Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience with auto policies and related laws.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certifications are a plus.
• State adjusting licenses required or obtainable as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reviews or acts on reports and forms; responds to inquiries; seeks legal opinions and early resolution; communicates results.
• Handles high-end cases with serious injuries and/or complex coverage scenarios.
• Responds to decisions or court orders; creates action plans; determines need for examinations.
• Identifies cases for settlements; coordinates with clients and designees.
• Gathers information and coordinates with local counsel; monitors performance.
• Attends mediations, trials, arbitrations or hearings as needed.
• Supports the organization's quality programs; works with partners on early return-to-work.
