Job summary

O'Flaherty Law Group in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Attorney with 3+ years of experience to handle criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation matters in Iowa. This primarily remote role includes in-person court appearances as needed in Des Moines, Davenport, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, or nearby courts.

You will work a hybrid schedule with a base salary of $100,000–$150,000, with flexible billable targets and mentoring from experienced attorneys.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, or a combination.
• Licensed in Iowa (or pending admission).
• Able to manage cases with support and increasing independence.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload in criminal defense, family law, and/or civil litigation based on your background.
• Attend court locally as required.
• Manage cases with administrative and legal support.
• Grow into increased responsibility and autonomy.
