Job summary

MaziCTools is looking for a motivated Permanent Job Litigation Attorney who will enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote position in the Capital Region, New York. You will have a unique opportunity to influence the firm's growth while managing insurance defense cases.

Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in litigation, a Juris Doctor degree, and the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual environment. We offer a supportive workplace with mentorship programs and a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct depositions of witnesses and other parties involved in the case.
• Draft motions and pleadings to be filed with the court.
• Prepare for hearings and trials by researching and analyzing case law and evidence.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure the best outcome for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Education
