Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a REMOTE Litigation Associate licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York to manage all phases of litigation, from investigation through trial. The role emphasizes thorough legal research, persuasive writing, and strategic client advocacy, with opportunities for business development.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, at least five years of litigation experience, and admission to NJ and NY bars (PA bar a plus).

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in litigation.
• Admission to practice law in NJ and NY; PA admission a plus.
• Strong research and writing skills are essential.
• Ability to manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the litigation process including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlements, and trial strategy.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop legal strategies.
• Provide legal advice to clients and advise on implications of current and future laws.
• Develop relationships with clients and understand their needs and objectives.
• Participate in business development activities including client meetings, conferences, and seminars.
