Job Description
Our client, a highly regarded litigation firm, is seeking a skilled and driven Litigation Attorney to join its accomplished trial team. The firm handles complex, high‑stakes matters in both state and federal courts, at the trial and appellate levels, and is frequently engaged by other attorneys to take cases through trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, including trial and appeal where applicable.
- Develop and execute case strategies in complex litigation matters across multiple practice areas.
- Handle all aspects of discovery, including document‑intensive cases and coordination with expert witnesses.
- Conduct and defend depositions, and prepare clients, fact witnesses, and experts for testimony.
- Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
- Appear in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
- Collaborate with senior trial attorneys on high‑exposure matters and trial preparation.
- Evaluate opportunities for early resolution and develop creative strategies to achieve efficient outcomes for clients.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar admission in New Jersey (or ability to obtain).
- Approximately 3–7+ years of litigation experience.
- Strong experience with motion practice, depositions, and court appearances.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage complex cases with attention to detail and strategic insight.
- Trial experience or exposure strongly preferred.
