Job summary

Reserv Claims Analysis, LLC is seeking a Litigation Adjuster to manage rental vehicle claims through suit, coordinating with defense counsel to control cost and exposure. You will own strategy from pleadings to settlement and keep carriers and clients informed at every stage.

The role covers bodily injury and property damage across jurisdictions, requiring planning, budgeting, and active portfolio management.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of claims experience with 3+ years in litigated auto or liability files.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, discovery, liability and damages.
• Active adjuster license in resident state; willing to obtain DHS/license within 60 days.
• Excellent negotiation, evaluation and written reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of claims in suit across jurisdictions.
• Direct and evaluate defense counsel per client instructions.
• Review pleadings, discovery and deposition summaries; set a case plan and budget for each file.
• Prepare pre-suit and post-suit evaluations including liability, damages, venue, verdict ranges and settlement value.
• Set and update reserves; request authority with a clear recommendation.
• Attend or direct mediations, settlement conferences and trials.
• Review defense invoices; manage litigation expense against budget.
• Handle coverage questions and reservation of rights with the carrier.
• Report on case status to carriers and clients; escalate as needed.
• Spot trends in suits, counsel performance or claim handling and share with leadership.
