Job summary

Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General is seeking a Liquor Store Examiner 1 to audit PLCB operations across the Commonwealth and ensure compliance with laws and standards. The role supports telework from a home location in Pennsylvania, with occasional travel to auditee sites and a 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM workday, Monday through Friday.

Requirements include an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, business, data analytics, finance, economics, math, or related field; or
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, data analytics, finance, economics, math, or related field; or
• Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training in accounting, auditing, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Regulation Review: research laws, regulations, guidelines, and auditing standards.
• Record Analysis: locate, evaluate, and analyze store records and other information.
• Data Management: create, input, access, and retrieve audit data and reports.
• Compliance Checking: examine store operations for adherence to required standards.

Education
