Job summary

The Department of the Auditor General seeks a Liquor Store Examiner 1 to audit the PLCB operations across ~600 stores in PA. This full-time role offers telework options from a PA location, with standard 8:00–4:30 hours and travel to auditee sites.

Minimum education includes an associate or bachelor degree in accounting, business, finance or related field; PA residency and a valid PA driver's license are required. Starting salary $53,008 plus comprehensive benefits.

• Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training in accounting or auditing.

Responsibilities

• Regulation Review: Research laws, regulations, guidelines, and auditing standards.
• Record Analysis: Locate, evaluate, and analyze store records and other information.
• Data Management: Create, input, access, and retrieve data including audit work papers, findings, and reports.
• Compliance Checking: Examine store operations for adherence to required standards.
