Job summary

Vytwo is seeking a Linux VMware System Engineer to support large scale server migrations. You will oversee the migration of physical and virtual servers, ensuring system stability and optimal performance throughout the process.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in VMware, iSCSI networks, and Linux environments. The role includes hands-on work with ESXi and involves automation scripting, containerization technologies, and CI/CD tools. Flexible work from home options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of hands-on experience in a relevant role.
• Experience in large scale data center or server migration projects.
• Proven expertise with VMware ESXi and vSphere.

Responsibilities

• Engineer the Linux platform during server migration.
• Manage and migrate VMware ESXi environments.
• Develop automation tooling to streamline migration tasks.
• Monitor system performance before and after migration.
