We are seeking open-source enthusiasts to join the Partner Engineering Team to optimize silicon stacks, AI, and virtualization across architectures, with a focus on collaborative, distributed work and high-quality software.

You will work across servers, HPC, AI systems, and IoT devices, contributing to packaging, security, and performance optimizations in a globally distributed

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in C, C++ and Python.
• Experience or interest in Linux packaging.
• Experience or interest in open source maintenance and licenses.
• Fundamental understanding of package management and dependency resolution.
• Ability to collaborate across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a distributed team to advance Ubuntu and silicon stacks.
• Contribute to packaging of Linux distributions across architectures.
• Assist customers to integrate apps and build OS images.
• Debug issues in open source code and in team-maintained code.
• Help optimize Ubuntu Core and related stacks for new silicon.
