Job summary

MatchPoint Solutions is seeking a Linux Migration Consultant to join our remote team. You will perform migrations and administration across Hyper-V and Nutanix environments, delivering seamless VM transitions and ongoing infrastructure support.

The role is long-term and remote, with a focus on enterprise-scale infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams, document changes, and ensure smooth maintenance windows and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration.
• Experience administering RHEL/Linux 7.x, 8.x, and/or 9.x.
• Strong VMware experience, including virtual machines and VMware clusters.
• Experience with Nutanix virtualization/infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience migrating VMs from VMware to Nutanix.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Ability to independently execute technical changes during maintenance windows.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
