Job summary

Clarkston Consulting is seeking a LIMS Consultant to deliver solutions for life sciences, consumer products, and retail clients. You will configure LIMS modules, validate workflows, develop automation scripts, and collaborate with scientists, QA/CSV, and IT across multiple sites.

Expect 30–50% travel with a home-office cadence when not at client sites; relocation is not required. A 4-year degree in Life Sciences or IT and hands-on LIMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with LabWare or LabVantage LIMS.
• Experience configuring and customizing LabWare or LabVantage LIMS to support laboratory workflows.
• Proven ability to design, configure, and validate assay workflows.
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts for workflow automation and data transformations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure LIMS modules to support workflows including assay development and sample management.
• Design, configure, and validate assay workflows within regulated environments.
• Develop and maintain scripts for workflow automation and instrument integration.
• Develop project documentation and conduct configuration demos for clients.
• Collaborate with scientists, QA/CSV, and IT to design solutions and support system validation.
• Ensure configurations comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and other validation procedures.
