Job summary

Clarkston Consulting, Inc. is seeking a LIMS Consultant to deliver solutions for life sciences, consumer products, and retail clients. This role involves configuring LIMS modules, validating workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across sites.

Travel is estimated at 30-50% and relocation is not required. You will work from a home office when not on client sites, contribute to validation activities, and develop automation scripts while ensuring compliance with GxP and 21 CFR

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with LabWare or LabVantage LIMS.
• Experience configuring and customizing LabWare or LabVantage LIMS to support laboratory workflows.
• Proven ability to design, configure, and validate assay workflows.
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts for workflow automation, business rules, calculations, instrument integrations, and data transformations.
• Solid understanding of laboratory operations and end-to-end lab processes.
• 4-year degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Configure LIMS modules to support workflows (assay development, plate results, sample management, stability, and analytical testing).
• Design, configure, and validate assay workflows for regulatory alignment.
• Develop and maintain scripts for workflow automation, rules, calculations, instrument integration, and data transformation.
• Develop project documentation and conduct demos of configuration to clients.
• Collaborate with scientists, QA/CSV, and IT to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Ensure configurations comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with LIMS consultants across sites for deployment.
