Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Life Science Batch Engineer to lead estimation and proposal development for automation projects across life sciences, food & beverage, and chemicals. You will consult with customers, prepare URS/FRS documents, and develop high-level architectures using PlantPAx and DeltaV.

Remote role with up to 25% travel, requiring strong communication and a background in regulated environments. This role emphasizes cost estimation, cybersecurity, and data integrity across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industrial automation experience with PlantPAx and DeltaV.
• Experience delivering and deploying DCS-based projects in regulated Life Sciences environments.
• Strong knowledge of PlantPAx and DeltaV architectures.
• Understanding of ERP and project costing systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to review technical scope and engineering requirements for Life Sciences automation projects.
• Serve as a technical authority during estimating and proposal development for projects utilizing PlantPAx DCS and DeltaV DCS platforms.
• Prepare work to be estimated by gathering URS/FRS, P&IDs, blueprints, specs, and RFQ/RFP documentation.
• Independently quote control panels, PLC, HMI, and DCS-based automation projects.
• Develop high-level system architectures and conceptual designs for PlantPAx and DeltaV.
• Incorporate life sciences-specific requirements into estimates, including validation, documentation, cybersecurity, and data integrity.
• Travel up to 25% to customer sites.
