Charlynconsulting seeks a Senior DeltaV Controls Engineer to lead design, implementation, and project management of Life Sciences automation projects.

You will apply Emerson DeltaV expertise to deliver cGMP-compliant solutions, manage full project lifecycles, and mentor engineering teams while traveling up to 25% for commissioning and on-site support. This role combines office collaboration with regulated manufacturing site work in Raleigh area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years of automation and control systems experience in Life Sciences.
• Extensive DeltaV experience (design, configuration, implementation).
• Proficiency with DeltaV Live and DeltaV Operate.
• Strong ISA-88 batch processing and ISA-101 HMI expertise.
• Knowledge of GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Leadership and project management capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement Emerson DeltaV control systems for Life Sciences projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Lead system architecture design and control strategies for manufacturing performance.
• Design batch sequencing, phase logic, and recipes using ISA-88.
• Develop DeltaV operator interfaces with DeltaV Live/Operate per ISA-101.
• Implement class-based automation architecture for scalability.
• Design electrical systems including panel layouts and grounding.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and FAT/SAT involvement.
