The Wood Agency Life offers a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You’ll manage your own pipeline and use carrier tools to quote, submit applications, and shepherd cases through underwriting.

A state life insurance license is required or a plan to obtain one before your first sale, with mentorship and ongoing training. You’ll benefit from exclusive lead systems, guidance from Ben and Andrea, and access to 43 carriers to tailor the best fit for clients.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license required or plan to obtain before first sale.
• Track record of selling where results depend on your own work.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal daily guidance.
• Familiar with web-based quoting platforms and a CRM.

Responsibilities

• Work your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information
• Run discovery conversations before presenting, then match options to what you learn
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during the client appointment
• Chase each case through underwriting until it is issued or closed out
• Keep CRM records clean so your pipeline is always accurate
• Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change
