Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Life & Annuity and Service Operations to support a large-scale merger planning and integration initiative. This role partners with business and operational stakeholders to align strategies, plan, and execute across retail life and annuity businesses.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in PM, insurance operations expertise, and proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, deliverables, and executive communications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience leading large-scale transformations.
• Direct experience within Life Insurance and/or Annuity operations.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or organizational change initiatives.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of insurance service operations, policy administration, customer servicing, claims, or related operational functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate merger planning across life insurance, annuity, and service operations functions.
• Define integration strategies, priorities, and timelines with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Drive project governance, status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and executive communications.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and planning sessions to identify operational impacts and integration opportunities.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities to ensure successful execution.
• Support operating model assessments, process harmonization, and organizational readiness planning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, meeting cadences, action-item tracking, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with business, technology, compliance, and operations teams to ensure alignment throughout the integration process.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful business outcomes.
