Remote Licensed Therapist

LGBTQIA+ Virtual Adult Program

Offering a $3,000.00 sign-on bonus for Therapists with licenses in 3 states where Monte Nido provides services.

Monte Nido has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.

The Primary Therapist for the Adult LGBTQIA+ IOP program is responsible for a client caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapy. Will conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments. Collaborates with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan and assists in coordinating discharge planning. Has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the referral source and other services provided as needed. While primary clients will be in the LGBTQIA+ program, the Primary Therapist may also see other clients in the general adult or adolescent programs, as needed.

This is a FT position with benefits, including days and 2 evenings/week.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy
  • Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Providing therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
  • Providing safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities
  • Supervising up to two interns.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field, preferably knowledgeable in Eating Disorders.
  • Two years of work experience in the mental health field conducting individual and group therapy.
  • Full Independent Clinical Licensure (in good standing) required. Preference for multi-state licensure.
  • Preference for LCSW licensure.
  • Preference for EST or CST time zone.
