Job summary

Bowen Health in Syracuse, IN is hiring a Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC) to diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans and provide remote counseling while monitoring progress.

Requirements include Master’s (or higher) in psychology or related field, Indiana licensure, CPI and BLS/First Aid certifications to be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or related field or higher, required.
• PhD or PsyD from an accredited college or university, required.
• Licensure to practice in Indiana: LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/LCAC, required.
• CPI certification obtained after hire and maintained.
• BLS and First Aid certifications obtained after hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Create a treatment plan for patients based on their needs.
• Refer patients to other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Coordinate with family and supports as part of treatment.
• Respond to crisis, evaluate risk, and promote client safety.
• Complete mental health and substance use evaluations as needed and link to services.
• Attend supervision sessions and staff meetings.
• Provide counseling using evidenced-based practices and document services.
• Use outcome measures and integrate referrals to support integrated care.
• Advocate for an inclusive, non-discriminatory practice and maintain professional boundaries.
