Job summary

Headspace is seeking a part-time, independently licensed therapist to provide teletherapy as a DC-based contractor (1099). The role requires at least 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling and steady caseload potential, with sessions typically 60 minutes for intake and 45 minutes for follow-ups.

Work is conducted virtually within the U.S. As a licensed professional, you will join a multidisciplinary team and deliver measurement-based care while maintaining HIPAA-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples or families.
• Independent clinical license in good standing.
• Ability to offer at least 10 sessions per week.
• Comfort with care delivery technology and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality tele‑therapy to Headspace patients via HIPAA‑compliant video platform.
• Complete and lock clinical notes within 48 hours of each session.
• Maintain a license database with updates and expirations.
• Keep availability calendar up to date.
• Collaborate with health coaches, therapists, psychiatrists and external care providers.
