Job summary

L’Attitude Recruiting is seeking a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer to join our nationally recognized Atlanta-based team. This full-time remote W-2 role offers benefits, uncapped commissions, and strong support to help you close with qualified borrowers daily.

You will originate loans in licensed states, educate borrowers, gather docs, and collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to ensure smooth closings.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS and state MLO licenses required.
• Minimum 1 year of mortgage origination or loan officer experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with mortgage software and online application platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Direct Lender settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert qualified mortgage clients by assisting with loan applications and status updates.
• Educate borrowers on loan options, rates, and terms.
• Originate loans in licensed states with diverse product options.
• Collect and verify borrower documentation.
• Partner with processing and underwriting teams to close loans quickly.
• Communicate clearly with clients throughout the loan process.
• Stay current with mortgage guidelines and market trends.
