Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Therapist or Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) for remote, telemedicine-based counseling with Nevada patients through our Community Health Center partners. Clinicians must hold an active license in their primary state and be willing to obtain Nevada licensure as needed.

The role emphasizes evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, trauma-focused approaches) and remote work, with strong support for professional development and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted mental health license in state of primary residence and state of medical services being provided (Arizona).
• Comfortable working in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and therapy to patients remotely via telemedicine.
• Review and sign patient psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans and consents as needed.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure records are accurate and compliant.
• Conduct crisis intervention and participate in regular case planning with the multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in ongoing education, training, and supervision to maintain competency.
