Job summary

Cogwheel Behavioral Health in Vancouver, Washington is seeking licensed mental health counselors for a meaningful full-time role. This remote-friendly position allows you to deliver outpatient therapy from your own space while connecting with clients through an accessible remote model.

You will work with a diverse client population, providing evidence-based therapies such as CBT/DBT, and collaborating with an administrative team to handle scheduling, billing, and insurance.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license as LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, showing empathy and compassion.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to balance client caseloads and documentation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Deliver effective therapies using CBT or DBT to promote clients' growth and healing.
• Establish measurable therapeutic goals with clients and monitor progress through regular check-ins.
• Provide teletherapy options to increase accessibility for clients.
• Maintain thorough, confidential records upholding ethical standards and case management.
• Engage in continuous professional development and attend training sessions.
