Job summary

Behavioral Health Group - BHG is seeking a Counselor (LAC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, PLPC) for a remote, part-time role. You will help patients set goals, prepare for a drug-free life, and provide emotional support while adhering to program policies and regulatory requirements.

You will conduct individual and group sessions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate referrals. Strong licensing and experience in behavioral health are desired for this position.

Qualifications

• As per state requirements, individuals with human service related degrees and current counseling credentials should apply.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred, not required.
• Ability to make decisions with confidential issues and work under supervision when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group sessions.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and procedures.
• Collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans and maintain records.
• Make referrals and perform follow-ups; assist in new program implementation.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Attend in-service trainings and comply with regulatory standards.
• Schedule and attend regular in-service training and report issues promptly.
