Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Liability Litigation Claims Examiner to analyze GL, Auto, BI, and Premises Liability Litigation claims on behalf of clients. This is a US telecommuter, full-time role with nationwide jurisdiction and licensing requirements.

You will adjudicate claims, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with clients while benefiting from Sedgwick's learning and growth opportunities. Candidates should have 5 years of claims management experience (3 years in litigation) and hold a Home

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent, with 3 years of litigation experience.
• Licensing requirements include Home State License.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to determine exposure and resolve claims timely.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and coordinating directions professionally.
