Qualifications

• Education & licensing: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; Professional certification as applicable to line of business.
• Experience: 5 years claims management experience or equivalent, with 3 years of litigation experience.
• Licensing: Home State License required.
• Jurisdiction knowledge: licensing and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to determine exposure and ensure timely resolution.
• Negotiating settlement within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to excess carriers and responding to directions professionally.
