Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Examiner - Liability to analyze complex general and product liability claims and determine benefits due. You will work with high exposure claims involving litigation, ensuring adjudication within service expectations and client requirements.

Responsibilities include investigating information, negotiating settlements, and communicating progress to claimants and clients. Licensing across states is required or obtained within six months; remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing for all 50 states, including NY, IA and FL, or willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex or technically difficult general and product liability and ligated claims to determine benefits due.
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions professionally and timely.
