Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Liability to analyze complex general and product liability claims, including high exposure cases. The role requires licensing in home state/NY or willingness to obtain within six months, and offers remote work with full-time hours across the U.S.

You will assess exposure, negotiate settlements, and communicate findings to clients while supporting a flexible, growth-oriented environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to resolution; investigate and gather information to determine exposure.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions professionally.
