Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring for a Claims Representative - Liability | GL & BI, remote-friendly with a home-state licensing requirement. The role supports adjudication of general liability and bodily injury claims for major clients, working across all states from a remote setting.

You will analyze claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate progress to claimants and clients while ensuring compliance with client requirements and service standards.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze general liability and bodily injury claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions professionally and timely.

Education
