Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative - Liability to analyze general liability and bodily injury claims for clients nationwide. This remote role supports adjudication within service levels and client requirements.

Responsibilities include evaluating claims, negotiating settlements, and communicating with claimants, clients, and carriers. Requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred) and 2 years claims experience; home-state licensing is required.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Licensing: Home state required.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: All States

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process general liability and bodily injury claims to determine benefits due and ensure adjudication within service expectations.
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
