Job summary

SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Practice Manager. This position is remote but based from the NYC or Washington DC area, offering a high base and strong growth potential.

Responsibilities include leading overall Business Unit operations, talent management, and business intelligence. The role requires managing teams, coordinating with partners, and driving process improvements across the practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. or MBA preferred.
• 5–7+ years at a top-tier law firm or 5+ years in practice management/business roles in a law firm.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proven project management and delegation abilities; strong organizational skills.
• Creative problem solving and people management experience.
• Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall Business Unit Operations including client service, staffing, pricing, productivity, structure, communications, data/tech flow, and innovation.
• Lead Talent Management initiatives in collaboration with partners and development professionals.
• Produce reporting and analytics to inform leadership on trends in talent, financial performance, and knowledge management.
• Manage workload and professional development for the team with the Managing Director, including coaching and supervision.
