Penguin Random House (PRH) Legal Department seeks a Summer 2025? 2027 internship for a first-year law student. Interns gain exposure to defamation, copyright, privacy, and other disciplines while supporting the world’s largest English-language publisher.

This 10-week, remote internship pays $21/hour, with four days per week (Mon–Thu) and a NYHQ base with remote flexibility; eligibility requires U.S. residency and 28 hours/week commitment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited law school and in the first year of the program (1L).
• Able to work 28 hours/week throughout the program.
• Available June 7, 2027 – August 12, 2027 and reside in the U.S. for the duration.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research across multiple disciplines.
• Review books for legal concerns and assist with contracts.
• Draft contracts and support PRH’s legal team on varied matters.
