Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Editor for a temporary assignment supporting a U.S.-based legal information and technology company.

Licensed attorneys with litigation experience will analyze AI-generated U.S. legal content, evaluate accuracy, and provide detailed feedback to support model development and training. Remote, United States-only, 40 hours/week, starting Oct 26, 2026 for 2–3 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

JD required.
Active license to practice law required.
1+ years of litigation experience required.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
High familiarity with U.S. legal documents and content.
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
Ability to learn new software across multiple platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and organization.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to provide detailed analytical feedback.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate AI-generated legal content (memoranda, briefs, summaries).
Create prompts and inputs for large language models using Excel and other tools.
Assess generated content against defined criteria and required legal elements.
Review statutory and case law citations for accuracy and completeness.
Analyze summaries, answers, and draft documents for legal accuracy and quality.
Provide ratings, written assessments, and detailed feedback commentary.
Maintain productivity and quality in a fast-paced project environment.
Collaborate with project leads and managers and communicate updates.
