Collaborate with attorneys on due diligence for new clients and matters, including potential lateral hires. Location is fully remote with a six-month assignment and potential for permanent conversion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience conducting risk assessment or due diligence.
• Experience using research platforms and public-record resources.
• Working knowledge of KYC/AML concepts and due diligence.
• Ability to interpret financial information and SEC filings.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients and related entities to identify risk concerns.
• Review corporate backgrounds, financial information, litigation history, and public records.
• Analyze and synthesize information into clear research findings.
• Support attorneys with due diligence related to new clients and matters.
• Assist with research on lateral hires, business combinations, and risk projects.
• Partner with conflicts and intake teams to identify issues during intake.
• Support Information Governance and risk management initiatives.
