BMC Software is seeking a remote Legal Counsel focused on Product to support the full product lifecycle from concept to launch. The role emphasizes proactive legal guidance to product management and engineering teams.

You will review and negotiate SaaS, licensing and data privacy agreements while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements across the product line.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as in-house or similar legal counsel in a software/tech company.
• Active license to practice law in at least one US/Canadian jurisdiction.
• US/Canadian Data Privacy certification (CIPP/US or CIPP/C).

Responsabilidades

• Provide proactive, business-focused legal advice to product management and engineering teams throughout the full product lifecycle (concept to launch).
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (SaaS, licensing, OEM, data privacy).
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, data security and privacy requirements.
