Job description

A solo practitioner is hiring a part time Legal Assistant. This position is fully remote and offers a flexible schedule with up to 20 hours a week based on caseload and demand. This position pays up to $20/hour commensurate with experience.

About the Attorney: This solo practitioner is established with over 20 years servicing the states of Maryland and Florida. His practice area is Corporate/Business Law with an occasional Bankruptcy case.

About the Position: This is a very traditional legal assistant role. The ideal applicant will be receiving dictation from the Attorney on a weekly basis outlining what legal documents need to be drafted and for which cases. After drafting the documents, they’ll get sent to the Attorney for approval before electronically filing them in the e-filing portal.
