Mercor is seeking a contract lawyer to evaluate AI-generated legal documents and provide expert feedback. You will review memoranda, contracts, and related materials for accuracy and legal rigor, and collaborate with AI teams to improve model training.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Lawyer or in a similar legal role.
• Experience representing clients in criminal and/or civil proceedings, drafting legal documents, or advising on transactions.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week and work remotely.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI-generated legal memoranda, contracts, and other legal artifacts for quality and accuracy.
• Compare AI-generated responses based on legal reasoning, precedent application, and drafting rigor.
• Review legal scenarios involving litigation strategy, statutory interpretation, and client advisory decisions with expert feedback.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to improve AI model training and evaluation.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI system performance.
