Mercor is seeking a contract lawyer to evaluate AI-generated legal documents and provide expert feedback. You will review memoranda, contracts, and related materials for accuracy and legal rigor, and collaborate with AI teams to improve model training.

The role is remote, with 20+ hours per week and immediate start, paid hourly for ongoing work through a 4–6 week duration. Candidates should have at least 4+ years in law, experience in criminal or civil matters, strong English writing, and the

• 4+ years of experience as a Lawyer or in a similar legal role.
• Experience representing clients in criminal and/or civil proceedings, drafting legal documents, or advising on transactions.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week and work remotely.

Position: Lawyers

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70–$110/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 4–6 weeks

Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Lawyer, Attorney, Counsel, General Counsel, Prosecutor, or similar legal practice role.
• Experience representing clients in criminal and/or civil proceedings, drafting legal documents, or advising on legal transactions.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.
• Strong written English communication skills.
