Job summary

The CU Denver Business School seeks applicants for a pool of Lecturers for the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities & Energy Management. Appointments are part-time (<50% FTE) and will be made as teaching needs arise, with remote instruction a primary modality.

This temporary lecturer pool remains active through Jan 2027. Salary is $8,000+ per 3-credit graduate course and may vary with enrollment. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Qualifications

• Master’s or terminal degree in a business or subject-related field.
• At least five years of significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level classes in Commodities and/or Energy Management with tailored instruction.
• Deliver lessons to diverse language and cultural backgrounds and assess student progress.
• Instruct remotely with potential for in-person or hybrid modalities.
