Job summary

Esquire Deposition Solutions is hiring a Specialist, Learning & Development to design and deliver transcription training for Digital Reporters. This fully remote role supports a nationwide program, coaching learners through a rigorous curriculum and ensuring accuracy in transcripts.

You will develop training resources, assess performance, and collaborate with National Operations to maintain high standards. A CET certification and experience in training are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Digital Reporter, court reporter, transcriptionist, or in a closely related role.
• Strong knowledge of transcription processes, terminology, quality expectations, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, coach, or support the development of others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate work, provide constructive feedback, and clearly explain technical concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to organize complex information and turn it into clear, usable training materials.
• Comfort working with technology and learning new tools and systems.
• Willingness to use AI-enabled tools in transcription and training workflows.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with National Operations and leadership.
• Strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
• Preferred CET certification; experience training Digital Reporters or transcription professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured transcription training for Digital Reporters through instructor-led and other methods.
• Apply practical digital reporting and transcription experience to help trainees understand requirements and real-world applications.
• Coach and support trainees through a rigorous training program with clear feedback.
• Hold trainees accountable for meeting training requirements and encourage persistence.
• Assess trainee performance and identify knowledge or skill gaps for coaching.
• Develop, organize, maintain, and improve training materials, exercises, reference guides, and resources.
• Review content and improve organization, clarity, and consistency of training materials.
• Create new training materials as business needs evolve.
• Document departmental procedures, training standards, and processes in Confluence and other systems.
• Partner with National Operations and leadership to align training with operational standards.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on transcription processes and related procedures.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate technology and AI into training workflows.
• Stay current on changes affecting digital reporting and Esquire procedures.
• Travel to Esquire locations as needed to support training.
